It’s a semi – transparent globe – shaped set with a space station inside, making it both a globe and a space station model. Compared to Lego globe and space set, it’s more elegant with finer details. The English place – name indications are useful for geography lovers and students, serving as an educational tool.It’s more affordable than Lego’s similar products.The adjustable light creates a beautiful atmosphere, making it a great desktop decoration. October 21, 2024JMBricklayer is one of my favorite non-Lego building block designers. This was such a fun build. This rotating sphere is more for display. I wish the stand were sturdier that’s my only slightly negative with this. I love the design.

October 17, 2024I purchased this for my 8 year old son. It took him a few days to put together, working a few hours a day. It really is amazing when complete. It has a light glow in a dim room. We actually have it displayed on our mantle, and get comments on it all the time. the price is nice, and worth it, as it provided hours and hours of entertainment. My son was able to independently create this building set.

September 13, 2024It took a lot of work, parts didn’t fit as easily as LEGO, though well priced, it is wobbly after finishing construction, We have to be very careful so it doesn’t get touched or bumped

September 10, 2024The globe itself is awesome!!!! HOWEVER!!!!…..the stand that is designed for the globe to sit on is not sturdy enough to hold it. It is not usable because it breaks every time you try and put it together with the globe on it and broke my daughter’s heart because it was her favorite one to put together thus far and she has done over 100 sets and she can’t even finish it. She has a finished globe just laying on the counter and half a stand because the brace is not made to hold the weight of the globe. It is pretty hefty when put together. It is disheartening and quite irritating to be honest. I would not recommend unless you are okay with paying money for half a product. It defeats the purpose.

July 26, 2024I’m in the middle of this build, but I am very impressed with the quality and attention to detail this manufacturer has put into this set. The bags are separated very nicely, and the instruction book is ~ detailed ~. This thing is the size of a phonebook almost, its crazy! But it does make the build go smoothly 😀 I’m really looking forward to finishing this one.

July 12, 2024Im a beginner, so shouldn’t have started out with this one. Loved building it, but there many extra pieces l. It definitely could have been my own mistakes in building, but the QR code given to help build certain parts was not allowing me to access the video for help. If you are really good at building do it, its very neat, if you are new, take some tome and practice with something smaller.

June 16, 2024I’m very impressed with this JMBricklayer set. The instruction book is about the size of a small town’s phone book. Bigger than my son’s school yearbook. It’s very good quality. The instructions are laid out clear and precise with 1 to 1 photo examples of some of the hard to tell size pieces and 1×3 or 2×6 information for other pieces. Packaging was nice in a big sturdy box, with individually labeled bags.. I think 14 numbers, but some were 2 bags for a number. Probably about 17 bags of pieces total, and then some smaller bags inside of those too. The kids and I build quite a bit of Legos and off brand sets, and this so far is probably the best I’ve seen. I’m only half way through building it, and hopefully I remember to upload a photo once it’s done.

April 10, 2024I’ve built my share of building sets – Ok, I’ve built a lot of people’s shares of sets. This is my new favorite, hands down.
This set demands direct comparison, so let’s go.
Lego has a globe set, blues, greens, brown and gold base. It’s 16″ tall. They are also currently doing a big push on some really cool space sets.
But this set from JMBricklayer just WINS on all points, for me.
I love space and sci-fi, and this thing is ALL THAT. White, silver, blue, orange, with a mind-blowing amount of greebling everywhere, it looks like something out of a movie, and that’s just the base! The armature around the globe has a similar structure to Lego’s, but again, the details are off the charts. The shiny silver pistons make it feel like a mechanical marvel.
The globe itself is incredible. The internal engineering is an intricate Technic-style structure, keeping things relatively light while maintaining strength and shape perfectly. Outside, the southern hemisphere is dark blue with silver and white details very clearly showing Africa, South America, and Australia, but with a gorgeous futuristic style. The North is completely replaced by an epic Moon base, studded with trans blue windows and tanks, with three micro scale vehicles, that would make an awesome display piece by itself. This is topped by a bright LED ring, making the whole set glow, and the entire top is enclosed by a 4-piece crystal clear dome (each piece wrapped in it’s own bag so they are pristine). The power box is perfectly integrated into the southern hemisphere, with an exposed type C charging port!
The plastic is at least as good as the Danish brand, and holds together tightly. The instructions are clear and easy to read, with excellent graphics. I did struggle a little getting the globe into the armature; don’t be afraid to pull up on the top of the arm, it’s plenty strong and the instructions are exactly right.
There is a sticker sheet for the moon base, but I only used 2 of them, because there are a ton of printed elements throughout. The stickers I used were precisely the size of the blocks they were made for, so there is no room for error. I may apply the others later, but seriously, I don’t think it needs them.
The entire built set stands nearly 18″, and I think the globe itself is larger than Lego’s. And what is most incredible – this set, with included light, 4 huge clear pieces, and a jaw-dropping design IS HALF THE PRICE of its Danish cousin!
The answer is, yes, you want this set!
