November 10, 2024this is great for those younger kiddos who are totally into stem and anything science! they can build and explore all at the same time. pretty easy to do and instructions were clear. our 8 year old built it alone.

November 10, 2024With like this, every kid is different – and any age really works, if you’re willing to put the time in to spend it with them. This is a fun one, though my kids are a bit young for it (age 5). One of our boys though is so incredibly into space that I had to get this. He already has a “my first” style of snap circuit from a well-known brand. This one though with the astronaut and the rocket (which has a button to launch it fyi) might capture his interest in the long-term much better than the generic circuit board did before that basically had a light, a noise, and a fan. It was interesting for 20 minutes or so and we haven’t returned to it. I hope he asks to play this one more, and I think he will – even as he gets older into the target range – because of the fun space theme.

November 9, 2024My son really loves STEM . Science is his favorite subject. So he was really excited when I gave him this kit. He played with it for a long time today. He has another circuit kit that’s a lot more basic than this one, so he already understands the concept. And it took him no time at all to get this one going. I was working at my desk as he was playing with it, and it wasn’t too long before I saw the rocket shoot up out of the corner of my eye. So cool! It was a little challenging to get the rocket back onto it’s base because you have to line it up just right, but it was worth the effort.
This is a really neat set. All of the pieces are solid–no flimsy stuff here. It entertained him for a long time today, and I predict that it’ll keep entertaining him. I would recommend this set.

November 1, 2024My kid is into space and stem so this was the perfect mix of both. I am very excited for him to open it. The quality seems great so far. I haven’t played with it since this is a gift but from what I did touch it’s great. Once he opens it then I will write a better review.

November 1, 2024I got this for my students. It teaches how to make a circuit. The students like it, and the space theme is very cool. It takes 3 AAA batteries that are not included. The instructions are minimal. The plastic is sturdy enough, but wires are a little flimsy. It’s a cool toy, but probably wont survive my students. I also have snap circuits, which are easier to use, but this is good for more advanced kiddos because you have to wind the wires.

October 28, 2024A fantastic educational toy. It comes with over 25 snap circuit parts, making it perfect for kids aged 8-12. The kit encourages hands-on learning and helps kids explore electronics and engineering in a fun and interactive way. The instructions are easy to follow, making it accessible for beginners. Overall, a great way to spark a child’s interest in STEAM fields.

October 26, 2024Nicely designed elementary circuit board projects for kids that teach fundamental concepts of electric circuits in a fun way. We did the simple Rocket test circuit consisting of on/off switch for circuit, battery, and rocket with its own “Go” button. Very simple yet captures the attention and imagination of a child. I suggest users replace the “connectors” (viz. metal springs into whose coils you stick the 2 or more wires that need connecting) with something less prone to failure (i.e. wires falling off)

October 21, 2024I ordered this electronic building blocks kit for my son as he loves to experiment and rockets are always a hit. I really like the space theme of this kit. The individual pieces seem well made. The power supply does need 3 AAA batteries (not included). The instructions could be a little clearer in places. It took us a couple minutes to figure out how to set off the rocket as there is a black button on the rocket base you push which isn’t mentioned in the instructions. The age range of 8+ seems appropriate as you are using small, delicate wires to connect the circuits. The wires are also short so the design feels a little cramped at times. Overall, this is a fun kit to learn about circuits and perfect for fans of space and/or rockets.

October 12, 2024My kiddo couldn’t wait to open the box as soon as he saw the kit arrive! We’ve played with snap circuits before and really enjoy them, so when I saw a space themed set I ordered.
Two things are preventing this from being a five star for me:
The directions aren’t great. I’ve absolutely seen worse, but the print is tiny and the language isn’t very clear. Definitely requires more help from an adult because of this. I can work around it by rewriting the directions for each build so that the kiddo can work more independently, but ugh.
The second issue doesn’t have a work around: these wires are tiny and delicate. They need to be wound and unwound on the connectors rather than snapped into place. Before long? The wires will break even with the gentlest handling, and kids don’t have the fine motor control to be quite *that* gentle.
Still fun, still engaging, but a solid three stars.

October 8, 2024We have two children, one is 6 years old and the other is 10 years old. This building block kit is very suitable for both of them. The 6-year-old child can complete the simple circuit splicing, while the 10-year-old child challenges more complex circuit design. This graded difficulty makes them all feel interesting and not boring. Watching them work together and discuss how to assemble, I think it’s worth buying this toy! And the materials are also very safe, we don’t have to worry about the children getting hurt.
