Awesome robot dog to with many features..
I bought this dog for my kids for Christmas, received it the next day and thought I’d test it out and I can’t stop playing with it.
The drifting action is so cool.
Great deal for the price.
My only concern is that it feels very cheap and not very durable.
I didn’t know if they have a warranty you can purchase with this but I would definitely get it.

The robot race is pretty cute! And the body is super fun and rugged. Costs a bit but I think it’s a good value for all you can do with it. It’s easy and fun to use, provides a lot of entertainment for kids and adults. I was impressed at the sound, remote control capability, and the engineering. The “dog” could flip over itself and gain traction in multiple directions—as a robot, it functions surprisingly well.

I mean who doesn’t want a dog without the mess lol. It’s fun, and it does take a min to get the controls figured out, but you get the hang of it after while. Kids are happy with it and played with it for quite some time.

This robot is so much fun to play with. This robot has a lot of functions on it and can be controlled with the included remote control or the gesture control that fits on my hand. The robot is very responsive and can maneuver though the obstacle course my kids made.

Bought this RC dog for my soon to be 12 year old son. It is easy to control and very versatile. The lights and music are great. Two ways to control the dog are also fun and the wheels allow it to go through many different floor/outside environments. Def hours of fun!!

This robot dog looks good overall, but the material is a plastic that feels relatively fragile. Despite that, I didn’t find any imperfections such as broken pieces or scratches.

It works using rechargeable batteries, which are included, which I find quite convenient. After inserting the batteries, it worked correctly.

The remote control indeed works and has multiple functions to make the robot move, either individually controlled by someone or automatically, like a programmed dance. It has very good speed and great flexibility, making it super fun, but I must mention that the wheels don’t have much grip, so on smooth surfaces it slips a bit. However, it still moves super fast. Honestly, it’s super fun to play with, and I say that as an adult who spent about 10 minutes playing with it around the house. The only annoying thing was the music, like it resets after a command is sent to it, but it can be turned off so wasnt much of a big deal.

Overall, this robot dog has a good appearance, the material is relatively fragile, but everything works correctly and it’s super fun to play with. I believe it’s a good investment.

This little dog is a lot bigger and heavier than expected & it feels quite solid and durable.
I dropped one star because of the difficulty in opening the battery compartments on both the dog and on the remote too. To open them you need a tiny Phillips screwdriver which I happened to have. Once open you do not need to use the screws to keep them closed again.
Also, the connectors are tiny and demand a good deal of fiddling to connect and disconnect them.
AA & AAA batteries for the remote and d the wrist controller are not included.
My unit came with only one lithium battery instead of the promised two batteries.

Once you get the battery charged and have installed the AA batteries in the remote,the operation is simple & intuitive.
I first hit the demonstration button and it automatically went through all its moves while playing a tune too. Very cool.

Yes it is a real pain to charge and replace the lithium battery so you will have to live with that hassle. But it really is a lot of fun to play with. It has good sounds too.

This is a pretty neat little bot. It is very fast and a bit difficult to drive. the wrist controller was tricky to sync and when it did, was also hard to control the bot with. That said, it is very fun and really makes everyone want to try it. During one song the robot says something inappropriate and it being so hard to drive, I do not recommend this for young kids but is fun for teens and older.

I ordered 3 different robots. This is by farthest the best. I highly recommend. The dogs love this one the most too!

This little robotic dog is a BIG hit in our house! Some robot dogs are downright scary looking but not this little sweetie! Right out of the box, he looks so loveable. Everyone is so entertained by him! It is amazing the number of things he can do, and there is a setting that has him show off all of his tricks so you know what he is capable of. The kids are better than the adults in using the hand controls – they grew up playing video games after all, but with some practice, you can figure out how to get this little guy to do so many different tricks. The music track is a little loud and annoying, but like the flashing lights, it does add to the excitement of the toy. This little guy is SMART – he is one toy the kids and the adults fight over! He’d make a great gift for kids or kids at heart!

There was only one negative to this product and that was it doesn’t come with the necessary batteries for either remote control. So if you’re giving this as a gift it requires 2 AAA & 2AA batteries for the remotes. It does come with the rechargeable battery for the robot dog though. That being out of the way this is a super fun little toy. Even as an adult I had a hard time stopping playing with it because it is just that engaging! Granted I am kind of a big kid at heart but this one is way cooler than just your normal RC car because of all the neat stuff it can do including climbing and even standing on it’s head at one point. Any child and most adults would love this toy! Beyond fun!

Fun robot toy that does cool tricks. It is a bit loud at times i wish the music wasn’t included at all. The battery life isn’t the best,about 20 minutes, but the battery of the robot is rechargeable. You need batteries for one of the remotes as they were not all included. My daughter likes it a lot and it is gender neutral.

This is great for kids of all ages. Fast, easy to use, and virtually impossible to flip, this is a great outside toy because of the noise that it makes, but if you have a sound proof bedroom, this would be great for inside too. A lot of fun to play with, I love giving these as fast gifts when I’m not sure what a kid would like, because they’re going to like this no matter what. Definitely recommend if you’re looking into it!

My granddaughter is 10 years old and I got this for her. She was quite happy when she saw it and immediately started getting it ready to play with. She could set it up without assistance.

It’s a cute little robot actually and for what they are charging it’s a good deal in my opinion. Her and her friends have had a lot of fun with it. It’s a fun toy for both girls and boys.

My sons face lit up when I showed him this remote control dog. He’s been playing with it daily ever since we received it. I love that the company has included 2 battery packs. It’s always a pain when your child wants to play with a toy but the battery is dead so having an extra battery is a huge plus. There are 2 different controllers supplied, a gaming controller type and a watch that works with hand movements. My son prefers the gaming controller type as he found it easier to use. The joystick seems like a whole lot of buttons, but they’re easy enough to play with and figure out. The wrist contraption was harder for me to use, but I’m an adult, so I’m not as good with joysticks either as the kids are. One of the middle buttons on the joystick seems to be the “demo” or “show off” mode— try this first so you can see what all he will do. I think one of the funniest things to do is move his legs so that he falls on his face and then figure out how to get him back up. It seems really well engineered because of the balance points— you can flip him on his face, but not all the way over so he gets stuck, and you can use his own legs to get him back right side up. He can be pretty loud when the music button is activated, but just zipping around without the music on isn’t so annoying. I’d recommend storing him in his box so you can keep all of the little battery charger cables together and not lost. We really love him and it’s going to be a lot of fun in our household.

We use stunt cars and other RV to occupy our time in camp in between activities. This car is a good size and the kids prefer it over others. It’s fun at home as well in the house, garage and on the sidewalk where it will climb steps. The battery lasts a really long time, all day and evening so far.

Not as useful as a robot vacuum cleaner, but much more fun. I’ve yet to show it off to my grandchildren (or their parents). I wanted to play and learn how to control this Robot Dog, first. Little Enna, my real dog, stays out of the way but isn’t scared of it; she’s laid back, smart, and trusts me. Of course, I let her have a good sniff to check it out. I’m far from mastering this Robot Dog (It deserves a real name; perhaps RoDo?) For me, the remote controller is hard enough to use. My results of using the gesture controller are totally wild. I guess I need more practice.

This is a very fun very amazing super kool toy or gadget for all ages my friends and I have an age range between 30-67!!! We all have gotten the biggest kick out of playing with it and testing it out seeing every thing it is able to do!! It’s got all the batteries included along with a second set for the pup the best part is === they are all rechargeable and come with the stuff you need to use to recharge them all!!! The screwdriver you need to get the compartments comes with as well.. Hours of fun that will never end for all ages big and small it has light up color changing eyes and a three set of songs /music. Just remember to turn the pup and remote control off after use to save battery life!!

This is a fantastic “complex” toy. By complex, I mean it offers a variety of functions and controls, which is great because it allows you to teach your child the basics while they learn how to use it.

I find it both fun and educational, offering a basic introduction to technology, robotics, and more. It could be an excellent stepping stone to spark an early interest in robotics or tech for young children.

For the price, it’s surprisingly well-made. I’m impressed with the number of sensors and features it offers at this price point.

My 9 year old son loves remote control vehicles. Him and I both thought this one was so cute with the light up eyes and antenna-ish ‘ears.’ He prefers to use the handheld remote because it’s easier to grab and also because the wearable one does not have a control to make the wheels go up and down.

It makes cute little weird robot noises as it’s being played with. To play the music it has to be still. Each battery lasts about 30 minutes, and there are 2 included. He’s learned to manipulate it pretty well. With these types of remotes, there’s only some level of speed control, so keep that in mind.

Overall this is a cute little remote control toy that my son has been enjoying for a little over a month now and is keeping up well with him.

Fast and crazy. It moves much faster than I expected and tries furiously to climb over things. It is well made and easy to assemble.

There are three battery compartments. A USB rechargeable battery in the dog. 2x AA batteries in the remote control and 2x AAA batteries in the hand controller. For some reason all the batteries except the AAA’s are supplied.

The eyes have lights and there is a music button which adds to the chaos of the experience. Both controllers work well but it is basically a free for all of loud, hysterical, screaming about the place, throwing different shapes. Great toy.

The Wurycia Remote Control Robot Dog Toy is a fun toy for kids of all ages. The controller can take a little getting used to, but once you figure out the controls it is fairly easy to control. Comes with two rechargeable batteries for the toy and two AA batteries for the remote. The hand control remote needs 2 AAA batteries which are not included.

The various buttons on the remote make the “legs” change position and you can make them rotate forward or backward. The makes it sit low, or stand up, although when the dog is standing up the legs tend to rotate on their own if they hit any kind of obstacle.

Each of the rechargeable batteries last for 15-20 minutes, depending on use, and take about an hour to charge from a standard USB port.

My daughter loves this. She has purchasedany robots in the past and this is by far her favourite.

Der Robodog ist ein qualitativ gutes Produkt. Die Fernbedienungen sind beide verwendbar, die reine Handsteuerung kommt bei PS/XBox-Kids weniger an ist aber akzeptabel. Das Hauptgerät ist relativ stabil gefertigt und veträgt die ein oder andere Kollision. Die Anleitung ist ausreichend, Ausprobieren genügt aber. Einzig die relativ schwachen Lithiumzellen trüben das Bild etwas, man kann mit Wechsel aber längere Spielzeiten erreichen. Für die Bewertung soll der Spielspaß im Vordergrund stehen, welcher gut gegeben ist. Das Spielzeug kommt an und es gibt wiederaufladbare Batterien, der Preis ist akzeptabel -> empfehlenswertes Produkt.

This thing is so entertaining for my kids, however it does cuss a little bit. Yes, you read that right, it does cuss but my kiddos never even noticed it. It functions great and lasts a long time on a charge.

This robot has provided my kids with quite a bit of enjoyment over the last few days and the battery life is quite decent.

We enjoy using both controllers but just a heads up that pairing them can be quite difficult at times. You need to try a few times to turn off the robot and controllers separately to let them attempt to sync. But once you have it working, the robot is pretty neat.

My kids are a bit older but I’m sure younger kids (10 and younger), will think this robot is the best thing since sliced cheese.

A cute little robot dog. My son had lots of fun with this. Very easy to use. Fun for adults as well. The only drawback is the noise from it. I wish it had barking noise as a dog. This robot dog is well made and would make a great gift! Doesn’t feel flimsy and survived several bangs during initial starting.

I like that there is a spare rechargeable battery for the main toy. You need to supply your own batteries for the controllers, but that’s kind of normal and they’re just standard batteries.

The wrist controller works well. It senses how you tilt your hand and although it’s a bit hyper responsive. I imagine with a bit of practice someone could get quite good at using it.

Wasn’t to much trouble setting up, good range on controls

When I saw this Robit Dog, I liked it so much that I wanted buy it for my kids. However was in delimea to order as dimenssion looked lil small for 11 year old. To my surprise, when it actually arived, robot dog became his favourite toy especially watch control.

My son is playing too often with this toy sometimes it feels like batteries are drainig fast. However the fun bit that comes along wit this toy offset draiinng part of it. It not only zip across wooden floor but equally good on the rugs as well. Especially with younger one chasing this robot don on the rug is our best play time these days with the kids.

I would highly recommend this little robot dog toy that will give hours and hours of enjoyment to your kids and really worth the price!

Getting the toy ready is very easy, all you have to do connect the batteries to the robodog, and add batteries to the RC as well. Both the batteries for RC and the robot dog are included in the package, you need only 2x AAA batteries for the gesture control.

Über die Handsteuerung kann man verschiedene Moves ausführen, dies ist recht schnell erlernbar.

Zudem verfügt er über eine intelligente Programmierung, mit welcher man unterschiedliche Aktionen über die Fernbedienung ausführen lassen kann. Hierzu gehören zum Beispiel einige Tanzprogrammierungen, sowie 360° Drehungen oder auch Geräusche wie z.B. Musik.

Der Robodog wird über zwei Achsen gesteuert, jede Achse verfügt über zweimal zwei Räder mit denen er nicht nur geradeaus sondern auch seitliche Bewegungen ausführen kann.

Im Lieferumfang ist außerdem ein Joystick enthalten, mit dem man den Roboter komplett bedienen kann. Dieser wird mit einfachen Batterien betrieben.

Im Lieferumfang enthalten sind zwei Akkus, von denen aber immer nur eines benötigt wird. Somit kann das andere Akku immer wieder geladen werden, wobei eine Batterie 20-30 Minuten Spielzeit garantiert. Das Aufladen einer Batterie dauert ebenfalls ca. 30 Minuten maximal.

Insgesamt bin ich mit diesem Roboter super zufrieden, er funktioniert einwandfrei und die Kids lernen sehr schnell mit ihm umzugehen. Er ist stundenlanger Spaß garantiert. Ich vergebe somit gerne fünf verdiente Sterne, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis finde ich ebenfalls sehr gut.

My 3, 6, and 8 year olds all love this toy dog. They have named him Power Puppy. But when I first opened the box I was overwhelmed. It took some concentrated reading to figure out how to make the watch connect. (I basically took the batteries out of the controller since the controller and the watch cannot be connected at the same time.)

The Remote Control Robot Dog Toy is fun to play with using the handheld controller or the watch. I like that although it seems overly complicated, it is really simple to figure out with a little bit of hands-on play. It even has what we call a “dance mode” where it runs itself and does some pretty cool tricks.

On the cons side for most, each charge doesn’t last too long, but it lasts plenty long for all the kids to have a turn or two. Then we recharge and in a few hours or the next day they can play again. I actually like this as a way to limit their time with just one two without me, the mama, having to actually limit it. It’s self limiting! haha

This toy robot dog will drive on carpet, hardwood, concrete (although it scuffs up the bottom front when it’s tilted that way), but not grass, or at least not our tall grass. It “might” work on a well manicured lawn.

Overall, I really like this eight-wheeled toy robot dog! He would make an excellent present for girls or boys of almost any age, from 3 on up in the teens.

This remote-control robot dog is a great toy for young kids – but, while the recommended age is 6-12 year-olds, I doubt that those over about 8 years old would be interested in it for very long. It is not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that pose a choking hazard. The robot dog is very fast, and the way it manoeuvres and the wheels move is quite impressive and, like it says in the description, captivating – but sometimes the wheels get locked up on top of each other. It is powered with a rechargeable battery (two rechargeable AA batteries are supplied – one to install plus a spare) – however, recharging them is a bit of a faff because there is no USB port on the toy. Instead, you have to unscrew the cover of the battery compartment to disconnect the battery which is then plugged into a USB connector (supplied), which in turn has to be plugged into a power supply. And, as the batteries only offer “about 20-30 minutes of playtime” before needing a recharge, that’s a bit of a nuisance. Unfortunately, when we were swapping over the batteries, the screw to the battery compartment fell off the screwdriver into the hole next to the screw-hole, and disappeared into the toy – so far, we’ve been unable to shake it out and it looks like someone’s going to have to take the toy apart to get it, so be careful! The robot dog is very responsive to the handheld remote-control which requires 2 AA batteries (not supplied). It plays music – loud music, and there is no volume control – luckily, it can be switched off (phew!). The “gesture sensing watch controller” is a bit of a gimmick. There is a set of instructions in the box, it is densely packed with very small print. I feel the current price of £49.99 is a bit much, but there is a voucher for a 25% discount available – with it, the price is much more reasonable.

This is a super fun remote-controlled toy, and it gets pretty wild! The remote allows you to move its legs up and down, so it can sit, crouch, and even climb small rises. I wasn’t able to get it to climb a standard step, just an FYI. I bought this for my grandchildren to play with but my dog went nuts over it. I think it may end up being a toy for her—at least after the grandchildren go home after their visits.

At the time of this review, this RC dog was $65.99 and I think that’s a little pricey for an RC, but if it comes on sale, it’s worth picking up if your kids likes technologically advanced dogs!

This toy is amazing! So much more fun than the cheaper remote control cars. The dog sits, bows, lies down, stands up on longer legs, lots of tricks! I had no issues with it getting stuck on it’s back, there are a ton of motions with the wheels that enable you to get it back right side up. It worked very well on flooring and thin, washable carpets, as well as on the deck. Did not work well in the grass at all.

Music is annoying and it does not bark, c’mon, it’s a dog, it should bark, lol.

The remote is smaller and feels cheap, but the hand controlled one is super cool, my husband and I had a riot learning how to use it – we had way too much fun playing with this. It included 2 AA batteries for the normal remote, but did not include the 2 AAA needed for the hand controller. Comes with 2 rechargeable batteries with a cheap USB charger (same as all the lower price point remote control cars). As another reviewer mentioned the screwdriver included is terrible, some of the screws were pretty tight and I did have to get another screwdriver.

I think the shortcomings with the charging cables and the sounds are minimal compared to the absolute blast this toy is to control!

This is a fun toy and would be good for any kid or adult that has decent motor skills to work the remotes. One has to admit when it comes to toy’s such as this Robot dog, Made in China is hard to beat, this eight wheel drive toy is really clever and intricate in design, the wrist controller is amazing even though just possibly a gimbal.

The article received does not require assembly apart from insertion of one of the two supplied batteries, these both rechargeable by a supplied special USB cable which does require a mains USB charger not supplied.
Two remote controllers were supplied on the model received, a two handed joystick remote and a wrist remote, two AA batteries supplied although both take two batteries, the wrist controller two AAA batteries possibly not supplied as this controller an optional extra.

Both remotes pair with the Robot dog as soon as either activated by their appropriate switches, the two handed controller easier to master even though two joystick and seven buttons are used for control, the wrist controller somewhat harder to master yet provides hours of fun controlling the Robot just by a hand movement.
The Robot single rechargeable battery will last about 45 minutes, however as two supplied and easy to change play can be continuous as both offer a 50 minute charge time, a comprehensive user guide is provided for use, control of the item and fault procedures.

Due to its revolving legs the Robot will climb small steps, it can play tunes and has eye lighting, I obtained this for my three cats to play with as they love to chase around the house however it is an addictive item and has found it’s way into other hands, it does seem quite durable as inevitable accidents have occurred during practice however still going strong.

So, I was a bit apprehensive about ordering this, because it had some bad reviews. In the end, I only have one negative thing to say about it, which is that it would be a great idea to have a charging port somewhere on the dog to charge the battery!

My daughters just finished draining the first battery and between the two of them, the rating was a 5. They had a blast zipping this thing around both on the wood floors and on the area rugs throughout the house! It also drives our dog (who has an insanely high prey drive) totally nuts. She chases it around and want to eat it while the girls are zipping it around the house.

The controls are easy to understand (my 6 year old had zero issue figuring it out) and its actually pretty fast! I gave it a few whips around the room before I turned the controller over to the girls, and have to say that I was enjoying playing with it!

Got this for my son to play with as he loves anything robotic and this looked really cool.

This robot dog comes with a standard console type controller(needs 2xAA batteries – included), a hand gesture controller(needs 2xAAA batteries – not included), a mini screwdriver, instructions and 2x rechargeable lithium batteries for the dog itself (with charging cable).

Setting up is easy: Simply put the batteries in the desired controller and a single lithium battery in the underside of the dog. (1 of these batteries is spare so you can quickly swap out if one dies). Then switch the switch on the dogs back and press the power button on the controller – the dog will fire up and you’re ready to go.

Using the console type controller you have 2 controller sticks that move the dog forward/backward and left-right, a button to switch the dogs eye lights on and off, a button to change between 3 music tracks(or none) and then 4 buttons on the top to move the track hoisting along with 2 shoulder buttons to move multiple track hoistings at once. Finally, there’s a ‘play’ button that makes the dog go into a crazy demo mode where he shows off all his tricks by himself! The dog is fast moving, responsive and actually brilliant fun! (See video)

The gesture controller is slightly more difficult to control with but WAY more exiting as it makes you feel like you’re from the future! The power button is on a finger strap, and you can move the dog by gesturing your hand forward, backward, left, right and you can press and hold the finger button to move the track hoisting! It’s pretty amazing! (See video)

There are no AAA battier use included for the gesture controller for some reason. Luckily, I had some hanging around or it would have been majorly disappointing for my son. Make sure you get some if you’re buying this as a gift. I also wish that the music (which can be switched off) continued to play whilst moving the dog. What actually happens is the music starts and then if you move the dog, the music starts again from the beginning when you stop moving him. It’s really annoying and should really just continue to play in the background.

Charging the lithium batteries is really easy as they plug into the included charging cable that just plugs into any USB style plug (not included).

Overall, I’m happy with this robotic dog toy. It’s well made, really fun to play with and the gesture control is really futuristic. My son loves the control with the console controller but he REALLY loves the gesture controller, even though it’s hard to use, just because it works like magic! Having the option of using both controllers is great though. This is a futuristic toy and my son is loving it as it’s fast, responsive and unique. I just wish the music didn’t restart every few seconds!

The robot dog comes inside a nicely decorated box which is ideal for gifting. The box contains the robot, USB charger, two rechargeable batteries plus two AA batteries and a small screwdriver. Watch type remote control and a regular remote control. The USB charger is unusual, I’ve never seen one that plugs directly into the battery, it lights up red when charging and goes out when fully charged. Having two of these is great because one can be charging whilst the other is being used. The screwdriver isn’t very good because the shaft is too thin to grip, so you need a regular screwdriver. The instructions are hard to read without a magnifier. The robot can be controlled either with the watch type and finger controller or the regular one. The suggested age range for this toy is 6 to12yrs but my husband fights the grandchildren for a try lol! So great for any child at heart. With everybody fighting for turns playing with it, the spare battery is essential, I might also regard this as an educational toy because it has taught my youngest ones to distinguish between left and right and improved dexterity in manoeuvring around objects therefore we’ll worth the price in my opinion.
