October 19, 2024Perfect building project. This does take time to build and is so much fun. This is the perfect gift for the kids or adults who love a challenge.

October 12, 2024This is a 2-in-1 set, but only the gun instructions are in the box. The robot instructions are obtained by scanning a QR code. The robot instructions are not in a format I can download and save (a click through website), so itโs disappointing all around.
Whether you build the gun or the robot, this a very complex set. There are over 500 steps for the gun, and many of the steps are complex. Itโs a set you really need to pay attention to while building, not one you can zone out and relax. The set also has a large sticker sheet.
The pieces are sorted. They are normal size, so are compatible with Legos. Most of the pieces are Technic.
I wanted to use this as a desk toy, I thought it would be fun to fire at the little targets. But the firing mechanism isnโt super sturdy and I donโt think it will hold up to a lot of use.

October 6, 2024Iโve put together many block sets and this may just be the most total pieces Iโve assembled in one set.
This is a VERY difficult build. My daughter and I put it together and we had to take it apart several times to adjust what we had already put together. The way it is assembled, you put together one side of the gun and then attach the other side to it. Some of the assembly instruction steps have you connect 10-15 connection points and it is very hard to get them all
lined up correctly.
After we assembled the whole thing we realized the gun trigger was not properly assembled so we never did get it to actually fire bullets.
That being said, this was incredibly fun to assemble. It took over a week to completely put it together in 1-2 hour build sessions. The pieces are packaged nicely as packages A, B, C, D. We did not have any missing pieces. In fact we had over 20 extra pieces.
The instructions to build the robot are not included in the box, but there is a QR in the instructions where you can download the instructions.
Very enjoyable but not for the beginner.

The instructions for the 2-1 set only include the rifle, not the robot. And the instructions could use some work. There are a lot of compound steps that require you to really pay attention. If you don’t, you effectively have to start your build completely over just to figure out where you went wrong.
If you like a building challenge, then this is definitely for you.
I build to relax, and the frustration that some of this caused made me opt to stop and scrap the entire build – especially once I got to the firing mechanism and saw how it just would not stand up over time. I instead opted to use this set as parts to augment MOCs and other building projects. That decision made me much happier.

October 4, 2024This build is NOT for beginners. My kid’s fingers practically started bleeding with the challenge of this one. But he had SO much fun with it. It is an absolutely beautiful set with lights and gears. It’s very complicated and if you make a mistake…look out…practically the whole thing has to be started over. We were nervous about the actual shooting capacity, and that’s the reason for four instead of five stars. It shot a few times and now it won’t shoot anymore. But with the lights and sounds, it’s still a totally impressive piece and it occupied hours upon hours of non-screen time, which is always a goal in this house.

My son had so much fun with it! Also it came overnight, which is perfect if you forget to purchase a gift for a kid!

September 30, 2024Thank you for this, at times, quite tricky adult to teen set!
Quite well presented, four large stages marked A to D. The set also includes a largish sheet of stickers. The motor set, (rechargeable) elastic bands and a bag marked “tool” that is your spare parts. I only needed one part from the spares bag throughout this build.
It was probably one of the trickier sets done for a while. I’m pretty sure the light set included is not the same as the one in the instructions. However not long after adding the cam mechanism to the front of the gun, like a rotating flail, it picked up the light string, wound it and removed the solder connections. So, I had to re-solder them. I taped the wire down going forward. ๐ That aside… It was often quite tricky in places. Many moving parts, a tight fit and the internal structure that is relied upon to fire the gun does not stand up to that much use. Overall, a tricky set & a challenge to get to function 100%. Thanks Again.
